Dr. Lindsey Breznik

Dr. Lindsey Breznik is a licensed psychologist in the state of Pennsylvania. Dr. Breznik provides behavioral assessment and therapy for children and adolescents. Her approach is considered evidence-based, meaning that she utilizes the best practices based upon current research evidence and she provides a variety of cognitive-behavioral and behavioral therapies based on the needs of the individual child and family. She specializes in working with children and adolescents presenting with externalizing behaviors (e.g., noncompliance, ADHD, tantrums/emotional outbursts, mild aggression, oppositional behavior), internalizing behaviors (e.g., generalized anxiety, social anxiety, selective mutism, and depression), and other concerning behaviors (e.g., sleep disruptions, toileting difficulties, eating difficulties, interpersonal problems) that affect child and family functioning. 

Dr. Breznik has a passion for prevention; thus, she has obtained specialized training in working with toddlers and preschool children with a variety of behavioral difficulties.  She also provides behavioral parent training for parents of children and adolescents. This is an evidence-based approach to equipping parents with the tools to best support their children with challenging behavior patterns.  Dr. Breznik regularly collaborates with schools and other treatment providers to create a comprehensive approach to a child's care.  
 

Prior to graduate school, Dr. Breznik taught kindergarten in Florida.  This experience provides her with unique insight to classroom dynamics.  Dr. Breznik received her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Missouri State University in 2011 and her Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of South Florida in 2016. Dr. Breznik completed a clinical internship and a clinical postdoctoral fellowship in behavioral psychology at the Kennedy Krieger Institute within Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland.  She has worked in a variety of medical and mental health settings, including private practice, a university based community mental health center, an anxiety specialty clinic, children’s hospitals, and pediatric medical subspecialty clinics.

Dr. Allison Aberson

Licensed Psychologist

Dr. Allison Aberson is a licensed psychologist in the state of Pennsylvania. She completed a masters of science (MS) degree at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in clinical child and school psychology, and a doctoral degree at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, earning a PhD in school psychology. She completed her pre-doctoral internship and post-doctoral fellowship at the Boys Town Center for Behavioral Health, where she worked with at-risk adolescents in a residential treatment facility, as well as Omaha-area children, adolescents, and families. Dr. Aberson utilizes evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), behavioral parent training, and mindfulness-based approaches. She has additional experience working within private practices, outpatient behavioral health clinics, schools, and pediatric primary care clinics providing counseling, assessment, and consultation services with children, teens, families, and young adults. Dr. Aberson utilizes therapeutic approaches rooted in research while incorporating the individual needs and characteristics of each client to guide treatment. Dr. Aberson specializes in anxiety/depression, OCD, phobias, and externalizing behaviors (ADHD, ODD, noncompliance, and disruptive behaviors).

Dr. Jessica Case

Licensed Psychologist

Dr. Jessica Case is a licensed psychologist in Pennsylvania who works with children, adolescents, and adults. She is dedicated to helping clients navigate life’s challenges with compassion, understanding, and evidence-based care. Dr. Case earned her undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Brockport and went on to complete her master’s and doctoral degrees in child and school/clinical psychology at Duquesne University. Her training includes experience in both private practice and school settings, where she has provided assessments, therapy, and consultation to support individuals and families. Her approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s unique needs. Dr. Case integrates proven techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), along with mindfulness and expressive strategies. Dr. Case strives to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel comfortable, understood, and empowered to make meaningful progress toward their goals.   Dr. Case specializes in treating  anxiety/depression, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD),  personality disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and externalizing behaviors (ADHD, ODD, and disruptive behaviors).
